Alright, it’s time to start asking our fellow moms the hard hitting questions about pregnancy: Ever force your partner to make a 1AM trip to Mcdonalds for that coveted oreo Mcflurry? Pay $30 just to have a frappuccino delivered to your doorstep? Cry over your intense love and appreciation for nacho cheese? If any of these sound remotely familiar, then you’ve most definitely experienced a pregnancy craving—a force so strong it could only be compared to a mother’s love.
In case you haven’t noticed, we are endlessly fascinated by the bizarre and amazing things that happen to our bodies when we get pregnant. So, just for kicks, we asked our community to share their strongest (and strangest) pregnancy cravings. Here goes:
These things are barely acceptable when you’re in fourth grade at the lunch table and yet…Sometimes there’s just nothing else that will satisfy that fake cheese craving.
Pickles dipped in iced coffee
Yep, you absolutely read that right. Honestly, we don’t get it either but we do respect it.
Spicy Nacho Doritos dipped in vanilla soft-serve
Does it get more classic than salty and sweet? Bonus points for the additional element of spice.
The forgotten stepchild at every family BBQ finally has it’s time in the sun. Guess everyone’s moment in the spotlight does come after all.
Red meat and lemonade
Is there any better way to kick back and relax than downing a 12 oz. Ribeye and a tall glass of lemonade? Nope, can’t think of one.
Cucumber with lemon and Hot Cheetos
Ah yes, the fresh flavors of summer. If this isn’t class, we don’t know what is.
Spicy bean burrito from 7/11
You might be burping this one up for…a while. But the heart wants what it wants, ladies.
Cholula and Capn’ Crunch
Just prepping’ for the mental and emotional trauma that is childbirth, we’re guessing?
