8 At-Home Learning Resources for Preschoolers

It’s safe to say this back to school season is a tad… how shall we put this? Unconventional? Scary? Confusing? Sad? Yep, we’d say it checks all those boxes. Whether you’re going back in-person, homeschooling your little, doing virtual learning, or something in between, it’s sure to be a year like any other. Whatever your situation, you might benefit from having some online learning tools on hand. So, we put together a list of some of the best online learning resources for your mini Einstein.


Beanstalk has live and on-demand interactive classes with topics like Art, Adventures in Story Land, How Things Work, Knowing Our Body, and Move and Create. Classes range in age from 1½-6. Khan Academy

The Khan Academy is a non-profit organization whose mission is always to provide free, world-class education to anyone, anywhere. They have daily schedules to help parents structure at-home instruction for as young as preK! They also offer resources for learners, teachers, parents, and school districts.


ABC Mouse is designed alongside teachers and learning experts to cover subjects like reading, math, science, social studies, and art. With more than 850 lessons and 9,000 individual learning activities, your mini will always have tons to do. The program urges everyone to make their own personal avatar and greet your babe by name. If your little loves the library, this one’s for you! Epic! Is a digital library for kids 12 and under with over 35,000 books, learning videos, quizzes and more. You can sign up now and get 30 days for free. Additionally, Epic! has resources for parents, teachers, and students.

AWE Learning

AWE Learning has hand-selected, pre-loaded content to provide literary-based online learning for your babe! This program will for sure help your little learner get school-ready with programs for homeschooling, early readers (ages 2-8), and elementary-aged kids.

Funbrain Jr.

Funbrain Jr. makes learning fun for preschoolers and kindergarteners by jump starting their learning skills through learning games, stories, and printable activities. Funbrain Jr. can help your little one develop early literacy and problem solving skills as well as important computer skills.


Starfall is an awesome early-learning program that focuses on reading skills. They keep things simple and interactive with programs for pre-k and kindergarten as well as grades 1-3. Starfall offers home memberships for just $35/year.

Boowa and Kwala

Boowa and Kwala is an interactive site that uses games, songs, and coloring to sharpen your babe’s brain. They have tons of variety and are a great resource for early critical thinking skills! Plus, they have tons of games for preschool babes as well as older kiddos.
