Bringing Reason to the Season: Little Spoon x Baby2Baby

Little Spoon has partnered with Baby2Baby to make an impact this season by donating a product to children in need for every order placed during December.

There’s a moment every holiday season when the chaos of parenting peaks. Maybe it’s during a Target run gone rogue—your toddler singing Jingle Bells at max volume for the ten thousandth time this week, and your baby dropping an absolute bomb in their diaper the second you get them in their snowsuit and into the stroller. Or maybe it’s when you find yourself wrapping gifts at midnight, using duct tape because someone “borrowed” the real stuff for a craft project you swore you’d supervise. And yet, in those moments of frazzled exhaustion, there’s a tiiiiiny voice (possibly your own?) reminding you: You’re lucky to have this chaos.

This holiday season, Little Spoon is partnering with Baby2Baby to spread that gratitude and joy far beyond our own homes. Baby2Baby provides necessities to children living in poverty, ensuring families have access to the essentials so many of us take for granted. Until the end of 2024, for every Little Spoon order placed, we’ll donate a product to a child in need plus an additional $10,000 to stretch the love even further. So every time you stock up on your little one’s plates, snacks, or smoothies, you’re also helping another child get the essentials they need. It’s basically a win-win: your kid gets their favorite plates, and a kid in need gets something that can make their day—or even their season—a little brighter.

Why This Matters

Here’s the deal: Baby2Baby is a national nonprofit that provides basic necessities to children living in poverty. Diapers, clothing, school supplies—you name it. For families facing the unrelenting stress of choosing between rent and food or necessities like diapers, Baby2Baby provides the essential support to help ease the overwhelming challenges they face every day.

For us at Little Spoon, feeding babies and  kiddos has always been at the heart of what we do and this partnership is our way of extending that mission beyond mealtime and teaching our kids (and ourselves) that the holidays aren’t just about what’s beneath the wrapping paper—they’re about really what we can do for others.

How to get involved:

Want to bring some reason to the season? Here’s how:

  1. Shop with Purpose:
Place your Little Spoon order this December. That’s it. Seriously, just order the stuff you already need, and we’ll take care of the rest.
  2. Start the Gratitude Conversation:
Talk to your kids about the importance of giving back. Use words they’ll understand, like, “Just like how you love your favorite smoothie, some kids need help getting their favorite things, too.”
  3. Follow Along:
Keep an eye on our social channels to see the impact of this partnership in action. We’ll share stories of how your orders are making a difference and more ways to support.
  4. Go Bigger:
Check out Baby2Baby’s website for more ways to help. Donate directly, volunteer, or just share their mission with others.

If we’re honest, the holidays can sometimes feel like one long to-do list dressed up in sparkly lights and wrapping paper. But this year, we have a chance to make it about something bigger. By supporting Baby2Baby, we’re teaching our kids the true meaning of the season—not just in words, but in action. And hey, while we’re at it, let’s give ourselves a little credit for creating the tiniest bit of light in a season that can feel overwhelming and heavy because that’s just what parents do.

So yes, you’ll still be buying the shiny wrapping paper and will probably be overcomplicating our kiddo’s class holiday cookies. But you’ll also be holding onto the fact that you’re doing something that matters. Even if your kiddo thinks “giving back” means handing you their leftover broccoli.
