From her high school years at Hewitt when Wendy Levey spent summers working in Head Start in Harlem, she identified and followed her passion for early childhood education and founded the Epiphany Community Nursery School, which she directed for over 40 years. She curated a curriculum supporting children at each stage of their development and added enrichment opportunities, expanding their educational experiences and preparing them for their academic journeys. Her degrees in early childhood education from Wheelock College, Bank Street College of Education, and post graduate work at Teachers College at Columbia University continues to support her today at her own consulting company helping families of diverse backgrounds from preschool through high school, as well as schools and companies, strategize all things education from placement to assessment to advocating.
