Tell us a little bit about yourself.

I am a 31-year-old single mom, vlogger and fashion entrepreneur. I absolutely LOVE my 10-month-old son Xavier, and because of that, I work extra hard at making my own goals and dreams a reality!

What 3 words best describe your parenting experience to date?

Challenging, Loving, Rewarding

What’s one of the hardest or most surprising things about being a parent that people wouldn’t expect or don’t usually talk about?

I think one of the hardest things about being a parent is staying true to who you are. I find that many of us parents lose ourselves in our children and that’s okay for a little while, but I think it’s important to not lose sight of your own identity and goals just because you’re a parent.

What were some of your “ this normal??” moments once you became a parent?

Ohhh there so many!

Literally having a panic attack and frantically waking up my son in the middle of the night cause he was sleeping face down and I swore he wasn’t breathing!

“Wait is this normal?!”

The few months my son had milk flowing out his nose due to some reflux.

“Wait IS THIS normal?!”

My son gagging like he’s going to choke on a new texture of baby food!

“Wait is this normal?!”

What’s one of your favorite parenting hacks that helps keep you sane (that other parents should know about and start doing ASAP)?

When ALL else fails: FEED THEM! Breastfeed, formula, Little Spoon, baby snacks. Maybe my son just LOVES to eat, but I’ve found about 8/10 times when my son is cranky it’s nothing a quick bite won’t fix! Seriously… Simple yet effective!
