What 3 words best describe your parenting experience to date?

Roller coaster emotions

What’s one of the hardest or most surprising things about being a parent that people wouldn’t expect or don’t usually talk about?

How crazy sleep deprivation can make you. There is nothing normal about functioning on no sleep. I started to hate everyone( sorry honey)

What were some of your “ this normal??” moments once you became a parent?

Hoarding breastmilk. Pretending to go to the bathroom so I could scroll instagram for 5 minutes. Eating my kid’s leftovers only to have them cry and tell me she wasn’t done. Putting cabbage on my boobs to unclog my milk ducts.

What’s one of your favorite parenting hacks that helps keep you sane (that other parents should know about and start doing ASAP)?

I used to wear my husbands zip up hoodie over my work clothes till right before walking out the door to keep the food and baby throw up off me!
